The 2015 Toro Rosso driver will be making his final start in Formula 3 before making the full-time step up into F1, and will want to win the biggest Formula 3 race before he goes.
The Dutchman was an exciting revelation during 2014, surprising many with his outright speed and astonishing maturity behind the wheel, despite it being his first season in single seater racing.
Watched over by his ex-F1 racer father Jos Verstappen, Max took the F3 world by storm in 2014, winning ten races including an amazing run of six in a row at the Spa-Francorchamps and Norisring back-to-back race weekends.
Verstappen will be racing at Macau for the first time with Van Amersfoort Racing, but has not appeared to struggle to learn circuits all year, and it shouldn’t be any different here. The seventeen-year-old has an excellent chance of ending his exceptional year with a victory at the historic Macau circuit.
