Shedden On Race Two Pole At Donington

Gordon Shedden will start from pole position in the second Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race at Donington Park, the grid based on race one’s fastest laps.

The Honda Yuasa Racing man was second on the road to winner Jason Plato, but his best lap was quickest of all ahead of third-placed Colin Turkington, meaning he will start from pole position for race two.

Adam Morgan will be next up ahead of Plato, Andrew Jordan rounding out the top five.

Race two’s grid, with penalty ballast included, is as follows:

1) Gordon Shedden – 66kg
2) Colin Turkington – 57kg
3) Adam Morgan – 15kg
4) Jason Plato – 75kg
5) Andrew Jordan – 48kg
6) Jack Goff – 27kg
7) Matt Neal – 0kg
8) Rob Collard – 21kg
9) Dave Newsham – 33kg
10) Aiden Moffat – 0kg
