2016 BTCC Calendar Announced

1 Mins read

Series organisers TOCA have confirmed a 10-round calendar for the 2016 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, with the order unchanged once again for next season.

The season will again open in Kent at the shorter Indy layout of Brands Hatch in early April, before the series heads to Donington Park two weeks’ later.

Next up will be the visit to Hampshire and the ultra-fast Thruxton circuit in May, before a gap of almost a month until Oulton Park’s fourth meeting. The summer break will again be between June’s visit to Croft and the trip to Snetterton on an earlier date of 31 July.

Knockhill, Rockingham and Silverstone’s national circuit again feature in the same positions as they shall this season, before the championship concludes at the ever-exciting full Brands Hatch GP layout on 2 October.

30 races will once again be played out, while ITV4 will continue to broadcast every race weekend live, free-to-air and in high definition in 2016.
