Mat Jackson On Pole For Second Knockhill BTCC Race

Mat Jackson will start the second Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race of the day from pole position at Knockhill.

The Motorbase Performance Ford Focus driver fought to second place in the opening race, passed by Rob Collard who won the 25-lapper for West Surrey Racing.

Gordon Shedden will join him on the front row of the grid after finishing fifth, while Rob Austin starts third ahead of race winner Collard and MG’s Andrew Jordan.

Sam Tordoff who finished fourth for WSR after a late charge will start sixth, while championship leader Jason Plato will start eighth after playing a canny game to evade trouble on his way to 23rd.
