Former Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Champion Andrew Jordan will run a striking one-off chrome livery at Snetterton this weekend, coinciding with his new three-year deal with title sponsors, Pirtek.
The 2013 champion recently committed to his long-standing sponsors up until the end of 2018, the fluid transfer solutions company adorning the Triple Eight Racing MG6 GT in a fabulous chrome livery this weekend.
Jordan, twice a race winner here at Snetterton, said: “This is something cool that Pirtek wanted to do to celebrate our new three-year deal. There is tremendous loyalty from both sides of this partnership and I’m extremely proud to extend our contract.
“It allows us to plan ahead with the knowledge that I have a group of proactive, supportive and incredibly enthusiastic sponsors led by Pirtek. Pretty much any racing we do we want to have a Pirtek association, but touring cars has to be my main focus.”
Yet to win a race in 2015 so far, Jordan enters in a positive frame of mind for the trio of races in Norfolk.
“I’m going to enjoy my racing and I’m targeting race wins and podiums, if there is a sniff of a win I’m going to be taking it. Snetterton is a circuit that can provide lots of overtaking and traditionally the MG has gone well at in the past, so we head there as a team full of optimism.”
