Beckmann promoted to Mücke Motorsport’s F3 team

1 Mins read

Teenager David Beckmann has announced that he will race for Mücke Motorsport during the 2016 FIA European Formula 3 Championship season, being promoted from their ADAC Formula 4 team.

Beckmann also announced that he has become a Red Bull Athlete, with the fifteen-year-old becoming the first driver to be announced by the German team for 2016, but will be forced to delay his debut until round three of the championship around the streets of Pau in May, as he will not turn the required sixteen until just after round two in Hungary.

The same issue affected his participation in the German F4 championship in 2015, when he was forced to miss round one due to not being the required fifteen years of age, but finished the championship fifth having took one victory at Hockenheim.

He also participated in the Italian Formula 4 championship, claiming three victories on his way to fourth in the championship.
