Teams and drivers from the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship and its band of closed-wheel support championships will get the chance to participate in an exclusive test at Croft circuit on Friday 4th March.
The test day will comprise of eight fifty minute sessions, meaning competitors from each series will benefit from over three hours of running – invaluable track time ahead of the meeting at the circuit on 18/19 June.
Alongside MSA Formula, which are not included in the test, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Renault UK Clio Cup and Ginetta Junior Championship will be racing in support of the BTCC that weekend and have the opportunity to take part in the test.
Joining them on the support package for the June meeting in place of the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup meanwhile will be the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, with teams from that series also invited to the test.
Last year’s BTCC visit to the Yorkshire venue was dominated by the West Surrey Racing BMW’s, with team-mates Andy Priaulx, Sam Tordoff and Rob Collard taking a win apiece, while Tom Oliphant, Ashley Sutton, Jamie Caroline and Dan Cammish were amongst the support series winners.
