Nathanael Berthon and Team Aguri have parted company ahead of the Buenos Aires ePrix.

The Frenchman, who scored points in his FIA Formula E debut back in Bejing, competed in just three races for Team Aguri alongside Antonio Felix da Costa.

We would like to thank Nathanael for his dedication to the team and wish him the very best in his future Formula E career,” said team principal Mark Preston. “We are carefully considering our options and will announce his replacement in due course.

It is believed that Salvador Duran will make his series return as a replacement for Berthon at the next round of the 2015/16 season.

I am determined, more than ever, to continue my career in Formula E and I would like to thank Team Aguri for giving me a start in the series,” said Berthon. “I am confident I will race and score points in the Paris ePrix on April 23.

Team Aguri made a strong start to the second season of Formula E by scoring points in each of the opening three rounds and the team lie sixth in the championship standings.
