Timo Glock comfortable with the BMW RMG Team

1 Mins read

Winter is over and the drivers are getting ready for the new season of the Deutsche Touren Masters. Timo Glock will be one of the 24 drivers who will be taking part with BMW to challenge for the 2016 title. Glock changed teams to be with the BMW RMG Team this year and has a new  team-mate Marco Wittman.

Glock explained his feelings of changing of teams and the goals for this season: “I know Marco, and know how he works. He has obviously come on in leaps and bounds over the past two years, and I am looking forward to our next season together. However, I am still a step away from challenging for the championship. The important thing for me this season is to finish in the points more consistently. That has to be my goal.”

Glock recently tested at Monteblanco where he tested the new BMW M4 DTM 2016 for the first time: “My initial priority was obviously to familiarise myself with the people and processes at BMW Team RMG. That happened seamlessly. After that it was good to finally get back behind the wheel of the BMW M4 DTM and brush off the cobwebs after the winter months”.

April will see the official test at the Hockenheimring where all the drivers will have the last opportunity to improve and to know how their cars work. One month later in the same place, it will see the start of the 2016 season.
