Mercedes announce driver lineup for Hockenheim test

Next week the DTM will be back in action with the five-day test at the Hockenheimring. Audi, Mercedes and BMW will have their last chance to improve their cars and prepare for the first race of the season which takes place at the same track.

Mercedes has been the first manufacturer to announce the line-up for the official test. The roll-out on Monday afternoon will be carried out by Daniel Juncadella, Maximilian Götz, Lucas Auer and the rookie Esteban Ocon.

In this test, the team will  put the new Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM through its paces and gain more information to assist with evolution and set-up as they attempt to keep hold of the championship that they won in 2015.
