Shedden Excluded From Race Three, Turkington Handed Victory

1 Mins read

Gordon Shedden has been excluded from the result of round six of the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, after his car failed post-race ride height checks.

The Scot had taken his second win of the season in a wet third race of the day at Donington Park, but his exclusion now means that victory goes to Team BMW‘s Colin Turkington.

The Northern Irishman claims his first win of the season, Adam Morgan promoted to second and Ashley Sutton to third for Ciceley Racing and Team BMR respectively.

Tom Ingram therefore leaves Donington with the lead of the Drivers’ Championship on 86 points, with Turkington now second and 15 points behind. Shedden and Morgan are tied for third, a further two points behind.
