Scheider surprises Glock with RX experience in BMW M4 DTM car

1 Mins read

Timo Scheider and Timo Glock teamed up for a special lap at Hockenheim in the Deutsche Post BMW M4 DTM Race Taxi.

With both DTM and FIA World Rallycross Championship racing at Hockenheimring this weekend Glock invited his friend and former DTM champion to try his hand in his car.

Glock was surprised to find that Scheider turned on to the rallycross section of the circuit taking the yellow beast on to the dirt.

“Rarely have I had so much fun in the passenger seat,” said Glock. “It was only right that Timo should know how it feels to drive a BMW DTM car. To be allowed on the Rallycross track was just awesome. It was a great experience for both of us.”

“I have plenty of experience in DTM cars,” said Scheider. “However, driving the BMW M4 DTM Race Taxi on the Rallycross track was an awesome experience. I had never driven a DTM car on a surface like that. It was quite spectacular, and so much fun – a really cool stunt!”
