Audi set the pace once more around Moscow Raceway this morning – taking six of the seven fastest times in DTM Free Practice 3 – with only the BMW of Augusto Farfus able to get in amongst the four ringed cars.

Jamie Green – who had started and finished tenth in the first race yesterday – sat atop the timesheets, snatching the fastest time away from stablemate Mattias Ekström in the final moments of the half-hour session by a mere three thousandths of a second.

Farfus was nearly four tenths off Green’s pace, but Mercedes have work to do ahead of qualifying, their lead contender in FP3 Paul di Resta coming in over seven tenths down on his compatriot Green.

The Mercedes’ were struggling most of all to keep it on the island, with both Robert Wickens and Edoardo Mortara taking trips wide through the grass during the session. The pair could only manage the 15th and 18th quickest times.
