Dan Cammish was fastest in the final free practice ahead of qualifying for the Rockingham round of the 2018 British Touring Car Championship.

Senna Proctor had been top of the order, just 0.2s faster than Tom Ingram in second, when Cammish rocketed to the top of the times.

The Honda driver’s lap time, 1:22.817, was more than half a second faster than Proctor.

Team HARD’s Mike Bushell cut Cammish’s advantage down to just 0.019s before the end of the session, but nobody could quite catch the Porsche Carrera Cup champion.

Proctor ended the session third quickest, ahead of Matt Simpson and Tom Ingram.

Sam Tordoff took sixth, with Adam Morgan, Jack Goff, Bobby Thompson and Ollie Jackson completing the top 10.

Of the drivers making their championship debuts this weekend, Ricky Collard was fastest down in P27, just three tenths of a second off the pace of team-mate Andrew Jordan.
