Sergio Jimenez is on pole position for the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy round in Rome.

Bryan Sellers will line-up alongside on the front row, as he bids to bounce back after his disqualification last time out in Sanya. Pro-class championship leader Simon Evans will start third, with Katherine Legge completing the second row.

Stefan Rzadzinski will begin for TWR Techeetah in fifth, as his running was curtailed after sustaining front damage after contact with the wall. Ahmed Bin-Khanen was the best of the Pro-Am drivers in sixth, as Caca Bueno was the slowest of the Pro-class in seventh, as he suffered a puncture on his last run.

Yaqi Zhang and Bandar Alesayi are next in eighth and ninth, with this weekend’s VIP driver Luca Salvadori in tenth position. Completing the grid will be Celia Martin and Qi Lin, who returns in place of Tao Wang.

The race starts later today at 13:00 BST.
