For the first time since 2013, Jason White will race at Talladega Superspeedway. On Saturday, MBM Motorsports announced the addition of White for the NASCAR Xfinity SeriesAg-Pro 300 at Talladega on 24 April. He will drive the #13 Ford Mustang with sponsorship from A-GAME.

In February, White ran the Xfinity season opener at Daytona where he finished tenth for RSS Racing in a #23 car fielded alongside Reaume Brothers Racing. The start marked his first in a NASCAR national series race since he ran the 2014 Camping World Truck Series event at Las Vegas. In 51 career Xfinity starts, he has two top tens with the first coming in his most recent Talladega start in 2013, where he finished eighth.

While 2013 saw his lone Xfinity race at the superspeedway, he has six career starts there in the Truck Series. Between 2007 and 2012, he notched a pair of top tens with a best run of fith in 2011. White has 156 total Truck starts to his name with twenty-one top tens, nine top fives, a best race finish of second, and a best points placement of tenth in 2010. He has also run two races in the Cup Series in 2011 and 2012.

A-GAME, a drink company owned by ex-MLB player Johnny Damon, sponsored White’s #23 at Daytona and will rejoin him on the #13.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with my teammates and can’t wait to get back to Talladega,” White said. Timmy Hill and David Starr will serve as his team-mates in the #66 and #61, respectively.

MBM co-owner Carl Long jokingly plugged his team’s sponsors in his press release by remarking, “After the race, I am looking forward to drinking A-Game sports drink to rehydrate while eating a Whataburger (no onions) as I order a lift kit on AutoParts4Less.com! In all seriousness, we are lucky to have added a talent like Jason to our lineup for Talladega and I look forward to celebrating strong finishes from the MBM drivers this weekend. They are all gifted superspeedway drivers and this is another opportunity to showcase their talent.”

The #13 is fielded in partnership with RBR, who joined forces with MBM after relinquishing control of the #23 to Our Motorsports. Multiple drivers have run the #13 in 2021 including Starr, Chad Finchum, Loris Hezemans, and Matt Jaskol. After seven races, the car is fortieth in owner points.
