Six drivers took to Indianapolis Motor Speedway today to complete rookie and refresher tests ahead of this month’s Indianapolis 500. Robert Wickens, Matheus Leist, Kyle Kaiser, Danica Patrick, Sage Karam and Jay Howard all passed the programs during the day’s running.
Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden has taken part in his first test of the IndyCar windscreen prototype. The test took place yesterday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with the American hailing the test as “fascinating.”
