IndyCar’s Santino Ferrucci has joined Sam Hunt Racing for a part-time schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2021.
For the 2021 NASCAR Cup season, eight races will have practice and qualifying beforehand: the Daytona 500, Bristol Dirt, Circuit of the Americas, Coca-Cola 600, Nashville, Road America, Indianapolis road coure, and Phoenix.
With plans to run full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in the future, Kaulig Racing will prepare by running the superspeedway and road course races in 2021, including the Daytona 500.
After initially planning for a part-time schedule with GMS Racing in November, Raphaël Lessard will run the full 2021 NASCAR Truck Series schedule in the #24.

Part-time NASCAR Xfinity driver Anthony Alfredo will race for Cup Rookie of the Year with Front Row Motorsports alongside the returning Michael McDowell. Todd Gilliland will return on the Truck side, and David Ragan is back for the Daytona 500.

Bristol Motor Speedway and Speedway Motorsports have launched talks with the city of Nashville into restoring Fairgrounds Speedway, one of America’s oldest tracks and former Cup Series venue, with a potential NASCAR return happening as soon as 2022.
