Airwaves And Redstone Announce Technical Partnership

1 Mins read

Front-running British Touring Car Championship outfit Airwaves Racing has agreed a new two year support partnership with Redstone PLC. It will be the company's first involvement in BTCC since it sponsored the Honda team during the Super Touring era in 1999 and 2000.

Redstone, who offer IT and communication services and solutions, will become a technical partner to the Wrotham-based team as it mounts an assault on the BTCC title in Ford Focus'.

Redstone CEO Tony Weaver said: “We are delighted to be working with the Airwaves Racing Team and are looking forward to a competitive season. Forging a strong partnership will enable us to get involved and share the exhilaration of the BTCC championship with our clients, staff and partners.”

David Bartrum, Airwaves Racing Team Principal, said: “I'm over the moon to have Redstone onboard, they have a past history in touring cars, having worked with the old Honda team. I'm proud to have them join our team and it's a fantastic opportunity to work with a like minded company.”
