Team ES Racing Appoint Team Manager For BTCC Debut

1 Mins read

BTCC independent Chris James's Team ES Racing have appointed Rhea Beauchamp as Team Manager ahead of the team's debut season in the championship.

Beauchamp brings years of experience to the post, including a 2010 season as Team Manager in the BTCC for Forster Motorsport, and several years working with national racing series.

“I am pleased to be joining ES Racing as team manager and having worked with this team in testing, their professionalism, enthusiasm and hard work is going to make 2011 a successful year,” said Beauchamp. “Chris having had a vast amount of experience in club racing is showing ambition and great pace at each day out. The team and I are looking forward to the start of the season and Chris kicking off his BTCC career on Sunday at Brands Hatch.”

“I am delighted that Rhea has agreed to join ES Racing,” said James. “Rhea has many years of motor sport management experience, nowhere better highlighted in the fact that she ran both Forster Motor Sport cars in the 2010 BTCC season and I am supremely confident in her ability.”

He added; “her appointment takes a weight off my shoulders and leaves me free to concentrate on driving at race weekends”.
