HiQ Go Nuts For BTCC Oulton Park Weekend

1 Mins read

Series sponsors HiQ are nuts about the British Touring Car Championship and now fans can prove they are too, and help raise funds for charity at the same time.

The company has commissioned 5,000 spanner sporting units of headgear for this weekend's races at Oulton Park and fan can get theirs in return for a donation to Breast Cancer Care, which has benefitted from the company's efforts for the last two years totalling £70,000. The headwear features the slogan 'HiQ – nuts about the BTCC'.

The Oulton Park paddock will also welcome HiQ's Pink Ladies, armed with the HiQ project pink baseball caps.

“When we say we are nuts about the BTCC we mean it, so we thought we'd create an item of headwear to say so!” explained Geraldine McGovern HiQ's marketing manager. “These items are a little bit different to the norm, so anyone wearing one will definitely stand out, which is exactly what we want.”

“We were keen to create a piece of memorabilia that would bring a smile to fans' faces, and something that they would really like to get their hands on.”

“The fans of the series have been so supportive for so long, so we really appreciate all of their support and look forward to seeing them all at Oulton.”
