Alain Menu will make a sensational return to the British Touring Car Championship in 2014, after being announced as part of Team BMR Racing‘s line-up for the new season.

Menu, who is a double BTCC having claimed the title in 1997 and 2000 with Renault and Ford respectively, was announced as one of the squad’s drivers and will race a Volkswagen CC’s under the BMR banner, alongside regular driver Warren Scott and another new signing, Aron Smith, who will switch from Motorbase Performance.

The Swiss driver has been a race winning-competitor in the World Touring Car Championship with Chevrolet since 2005, having previously claimed a total of 36 BTCC wins to his name.
