4. Pepe Massot
The first two years of Massot’s car-racing career have been nothing short of exceptional, with the Spaniard hitting the ground running with top five championship finishes in Ginetta Juniors in 2012, and then the Ginetta GT Supercup last season.
Massot’s first Supercup campaign started in superb style, with him bursting onto the scene with two wins in the first six races. While two changes of team through the year threatened to hamper his momentum, the 18 year old added seven further podium finishes to prove his wins were no flash in the pan.
With those results under his belt, Massot returns to the Supercup this season to lead reigning champions JHR Developments’ title defence, sticking with the team after a great end to the year together that saw them take four podiums in the final five races.
After their respective successes in 2013, the partnership is certainly one of the most formidable on the grid heading into the season, and Massot certainly has a strong chance of adding a first car-racing title to his CV come October.
