3. Harrison Scott
Scott may have won almost everything on offer in the 2013 Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain, but the 17 year old returns to the single-seater series this season with unfinished business.
Last season Scott became the overall series vice-champion, Scholarship Class champion and the Mazda Road to Indy Driver of the Year Award winner, a remarkable set of achievements for a driver in only his first season of car-racing.
Thirteen class wins and sixteen overall podium finishes, including a maiden win at Silverstone, guided him to those successes, giving the BRDC Rising Star a bulging trophy cabinet at his Essex home. There’s one trophy missing from his collection though, one he has his eyes firmly set on this season, the overall Formula Ford GB drivers’ championship.
Scott will once again compete in a Falcon Motorsport-prepared Mygale as he targets the title, and while a number of his rivals from 2013 are returning as part of an ultra-competitive Ford grid this season, expect to see Scott fighting at the top of the leaderboard throughout the year.
