Power Maxed Racing‘s BTCC driver Josh Cook has been confirmed as an entry for the VAG Trophy this weekend, with the series heading to Donington Park for the penultimate round.
The 24-year-old who recently gained his first BTCC podium after finishing third at Rockingham will be taking part under the Power Maxed banner in their PMR MK5 Golf.
Speaking on the VAG Trophy website Cook said: “I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of another PMR car. The VAG Trophy really has a mix of cars, so can’t wait to get stuck in for a race weekend without any pressure.
“BTCC is obviously massively different from anything else. PMR and I have worked really hard all season to get where we have. This weekend is very much going to be more relaxed for us, but we are still racing.. So you never know about a podium!”
There will be further BTCC representation with fellow BTCC driver and Championship co-owner Stewart Lines also confirmed on the entry list.
