Charlie Eastwood has been named as the 2016/17 Porsche Carrera Cup GB Scholarship winner, overcoming tough competition from Sam Brabham, Ashley Crossey and Hannah Pym.
Eastwood follows in the footsteps of 2014 outright champion Josh Webster as the latest Scholar, earning himself £80,000 each year towards his budget for the championship, alongside fitness and media training.
The 20 year old single-seater racer was named the winner during the glitzy 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup GB awards ceremony last night (7th November), as you can read in our report here.
