This will surely cause some controversy: Kevin Harvick, who won a Cup Series-high nine races in 2020, was eliminated in the penultimate race of the season. Chase Elliott dominated the final laps to lock himself in for the title battle.
The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule is now out. Closely following the Cup slate, dates at Iowa, Kentucky, and Chicagoland have been removed, while Mid-Ohio is the only Xfinity track that does not have a Cup round.
It probably comes with little surprise, but Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s 23XI Racing team will race with support from Toyota Racing Development and Joe Gibbs Racing.
