Filipe Albuquerque in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac regained the lead of the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona at the end of 15th hour as team-mate and former leader Eric Curran lost the lead due to brake light failure.
Team Penske Acura ended the seventh hour of the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona in first and second places but found themselves was outpaced and outraced by Filipe Albuquerque in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac. Lando Norris briefly lead the race in the #23 United Autosports Ligier.
