The British GT GT4 podium was completed by Tolman Motorsport’s Jordan Albert and Lewis Proctor as well as Academy Motorsport’s Will Moore and Matt Nicoll-Jones whose third place was reinstated post-race when Patrik Matthiesen was adjudged to have gained an unfair advantage when passing the Aston Martin at the final corner on the last lap.

After a thrilling race at the famous British circuit, Nicki Thiim, Mark Farmer and TF Sport handed Aston Martin victory in the British GT’s showpiece Silverstone 500.

Equipe Verschuur has snatched the GT4 pole position at Silverstone following a day of firsts at the venerable British circuit.

Struan Moore and his Mexican teammate Ricardo Sanchez driving the RJN Motorsport Nissan has taken their first British GT pole position at Silverstone this afternoon.

Jetstream Motorsport’s Maxime Martin has topped British GT’s second free practice session at Silverstone this afternoon, while Matt George ensured that Aston Martin was also quickest in the GT4 class.

The fresh tarmac at Silverstone was always going to bring faster lap times, and so it was no surprise when Nicki Thiim and Scott Malvern both broke British GT lap records this morning.
