Josh Cook claimed a brilliant victory in Race Two in Thruxton to close the gap at the top of the drivers’ standings behind Colin Turkington and Andrew Jordan who will have one more race to increase their lead on the BTC Racing driver.
Sam Tordoff took an almost lights to flag victory to start the latest weekend of BTCC action at Thruxton as he took his pole position to a win after previously losing out to Andrew Jordan when he achieved the same result last time.
Having made his debut in the TCR Germany Series this weekend, Thierry Neuville looks set for more circuit racing outings in the future.
