United Autosports has pledged a pair of Ligier JSP4 prototypes to the opening round of the LMP3 Cup Championship at Donington Park next month.
GT Cup runners-up Johnny Mowlem and Bonamy Grimes will transition to prototypes in 2018, co-driving a Ligier-Nissan in the LMP3 Cup Championship.
Larger grids are expected for the Snetterton and Donington rounds of the LMP3 Cup following the introduction of a multi-class system.
Honours were shared at the Silverstone round of the British LMP3 Cup Championship as Ecurie Ecosse and United Autosports took a victory each.
South African driver Callan O’Keeffe will fill in at Douglas Motorsport for the LMP3 Cup round at Silverstone alongside Mike Newbould.
