Ash Sutton has gone under the radar for most of 2019 but has finally achieved his first victory of the season in Race Two at Brands Hatch and a first of the season for Adrian Flux Subaru Racing.

Sam Tordoff took an almost lights to flag victory to start the latest weekend of BTCC action at Thruxton as he took his pole position to a win after previously losing out to Andrew Jordan when he achieved the same result last time.

Colin Turkington extended his lead at the top of the BTCC Drivers’ standings after claiming a fifth victory of 2019 at Snetterton.

Ollie Jackson was one of the standout drivers as the BTCC returned with the latest weekend of action at Snetterton with the Team Shredded Wheat Racing with Gallagher driver claiming a maiden Independent race win.

Colin Turkington leads the way in the British Touring Car Championship standings going into Snetterton and at the half-way mark of the season after a frenetic start to the campaign with the title very much still up for grabs.

Cosworth Electronics have been awarded the BTCC Hybrid System Contract by series organiser TOCA for the design, supply and servicing of the system set to be introduced from the 2022 British Touring Car Championship.

Tom Chilton topped the pile as the British Touring Car Championship took in it’s annual summer test at Snetterton on 16 and 17 July during the break before the championship returns at the circuit at the beginning of August.

Infiniti is set to return to the British Touring Car Championship with Laser Tools Racing with the team set to switch from the Mercedes-Benz A-Class to the newly developed Infiniti Q50 for the rest of the season.
